Damn I’m lazy. Should have mentioned this several days ago like right after animania but it was such a blast I was blown away tired from it.
I won’t say who I was but I was a vendor and rows of customers 4 and sometimes 5 deep all handing over money/grabbing at stock is a bit much. Yes I’d never even been there as a fan b4.
But forget all that. I have something even better. As I was packing afterwards I found my way back around this annoying bus blocked by a bunch of burly looking guys all wearing the same crap. One of the snatches of sound I gat as I was there was someone naming some of these persons and directing some out of the way and some to the bus. (on the ground not in the bus) Then with the word they gave an almighty scrumshove and jump started the bus.
Yes you see it was Saturday afternoon just before the big game between the Brisbane Broncos and the Melbourne Storm. The Storm had been staying at the same hotel as Animania had been held and half the Storm had just worn themselves out push starting their ride to the stadium that was just a short walk up the road.
So that was my Satuday.
